Brighton-based producer & DJ Just Her returns to Anjunadeep with her latest EP ‘Depend On Your Love’. Having previously released on Get Physical, Global Underground and Culprit, Just Her’s trademark melodies have gained her reputable support from the likes of John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, Eelke Kleijn and Eli & Fur.

Title track ‘Depend On Your Love’ opens the EP, featuring broken beats and an echoing vocal. ‘Always You’ leads with warm melodies whilst ‘Shouldn’t Love Me’ favours staccato synths. Rounding off the EP is ‘Running’, showcasing Just Her’s reputable production techniques that have been supported on BBC Radio 1 and Kiss FM.

A melodic EP between afro, organic and deep house sonorities is brought to you by the English producer “Bartella”, for our August release.

My everything original mix is a captivating melodic track which radiates romantic vibes, while Daniel Rateuke’s remix gives it a distinct afro spin, with new melodies and rhythms, together with an afrotech touch. “Mi Orquestra”, the second track of this EP is a deep melodic and organic house piece, with mellow themes and oriental sounds.

It is atmospheric and rich with vibrations, like a delicate orquestra.

To close the EP, “Cadena de Vida” is another organic house track which includes stunning atmospheres and vocalizing, as well as thorough harmonies: Bartella keeps enchanting with the fullness of its composition, without neglecting the importance of the rhythm.

Fur Coat’s Oddity label starts 2021 with a fresh edition of the acclaimed various artists “Odd Echoes Vol.4”. This instalment showcases some artists that are already known to the label, as well as many new additions to the family.

Fur Coat’s commitment to their label over the last few years has seen the imprint amass a dedicated following and an ever growing list of respected and lauded releases. Utilising their Various Artists compilations, the duo have unearthed some extremely exciting talent in this world and given emerging artists a platform to exhibit their craft.

Diving into the package we are greeted with the melodic and emotional sounds that Oddity has their recognisable stamp. Its clear though that each artist involved has developed their own signature sound and presents something unique to the VA. The first half is formed of well crafted tracks which ease us into the sound. Tracks the build and develop over time and help to kick start out musical exploration.

In true Oddity style the second half of the package leans towards darker and more driving pieces. Casting the listeners mind to the dancefloors which the tracks were meant to be played on. Its a VA formed of 21 original tracks mostly from first timers on the label, that all together solidify the identity of the series and sound of Oddity.
