This is what came up during the Universal Rain Downpour was falling on us. Madden played only his productions for 4.5 hours... and still had more of his music to play!! Romanian DJ and Producer, ADRIÉN(RO) found his passion for music at a young age when he received from his grandfather his first piece of vinyl called “Your Love” by Frankie Knuckles as a present for his birthday. A gift that would set him on his musical journey.
 
With almost ten years of DJ experience and with his debut "Imagination" EP on Magician On Duty, gaining support from the likes of Gorje Hewek & Izhevski, Lost Desert, Kora, Birds Of Mind and many others. It's no wonder that there's an air of excitement within the global dance scene. ADRIEN(RO) wants to define music, rather than follow trends. His passion is playing melodic sounds that touches your soul, throwing in surprise elements that makes his sets a quality experience.

The soul-heart is, by far, the most present and invariable psychic entity of Mesoamerica. Among the characteristics that are most frequently associated with it are memory, vitality, thought, will, character, moral behavior, courage, fate, affectivity, knowledge and, to a lesser extent, sexuality. 

It is common to assume that this entity can leave the body in various circumstances without necessarily involving death: 1. It is said that leaves the body during sleep to roam freely during the night; the memory of their experiences is the content of dream processes; 2. It leaves the body during intoxication and intercourse, being the diverse sensation of one's being a consequence of the psychic absence; 3. It can also be detached because of a fall or a strong impression, or be stolen by witches and supernatural entities; occurring in such cases the pathology called scare. Finally, we can see that in a fairly large number of cases it is this entity that is supposed to go to the world of the dead after the body passes away.

In aztec mythology, Tepeme Monamictlán is the second of nine levels of the underworld Mictlán, and it's residence of Tepeyóllotl (god of mountains, echoes and jaguars); this is the place where two mountains crash, producing enormous echoes as signs for the dead to cross to the next level.

Today is an amazing day as it marks our last day at home before we get on the road again. We love this day. Now that we got more accustomed with organising ourselves for the next travel the stress we used to feel before made way for excitement for what lies ahead and appreciation  for what you temporary leave behind.

On Saturday we team up with the L.A. rockstars from SBCLTR for the first Los Angeles showcase of The Gardens of Babylon. Los Angeles has been on the road to Burning Man for many years now and as all our friends are travelling in, we can't wait to organise this little madness on the way out.

We start with Babylon podcast by Gab Rhome. Gab Rhome is one of the musicians that we have been following closely for the past year. After listening to this hour long wonder, we know that this first collaboration on the other side of the ocean, will be the first of many.

Mike Batmanian (known as MkO, pronounced Muh-Koh) is a Los Angeles based DJ and Co-Founder of SBCLTR LA. MkO began his musical career in 2010 with a weekly bar residency in his hometown until his latter in music grew on a larger scale. MkO has since played alongside some prominent names in house music such as Yokoo, Atish, Nico Stojan, Matthew Dekay, Stavroz, Chaim and many more. Today, MkO’s spotlight as an emerging artist is one to look out for as his distinct style of deep melodic house creates an extraordinary dance floor journey.  

In 2016, MkO and his partners created the music platform SBCLTR LA. SBCLTR has since made a great impact in LA’s underground industry through the curation of special experiences in music and hospitality. SBCLTR hosts unique talent, caters to critical thinkers and attracts innovators to create a conscious and enlightened society.
