The Fluffy Cloud is an immersive 360-degree interactive sound and light installation designed to enhance human connection | 2019 Burning Man debut | EST 2018. 

Unfortunately due to bad weather my scheduled performance with Incendia had to be canceled, and The Fluffy Cloud team saved the day by taking me under their wing for the night. Thank you Jorge & the team for that!

Iam still in love with this weekend. Saturday our own https://soundcloud.com/afterhour-sounds event at https://soundcloud.com/klunkerkranich and sunday at the beloved gART.n place. Perfect weather, supberb crowd and atmosphere there. And a sound system that blows your mind away. A perfect combination to serve you my definition of downtempo. 

I opened the open air, so I had the opportunity to play some of my beloved melodic and hypnotic downtempo tracks, which I usualy like to play in podcasts only. After some time I changed the mood a little bit and added more bounce and energy to the floor but still kept the hypnotic atmosphere there. Plus moved the BPM step by step up... until I ended at 110 bpm, what https://soundcloud.com/haensenundgretel asked me for :D

I think it worked out perfectly. This idea of a symbiosis between the crowd and a dj is something what I felt there during my set and especially at the end. And Iam so gratefull for that. Especially because I reg. dont play downtempo sets more as you maybee know. Maybee I should overthink that point of view. Or https://soundcloud.com/maria-theresia-von-eberg? ;)

💿 Muschelmagie 💿

💭 Gierig sog er die frische Luft in seine Lungen. Wenn man ihn gefragt hätte, könnte er nicht genau sagen, wie lange er dieses Mal unter Wasser gewesen war. Doch eines wusste er mit felsenfester Gewissheit: Sie hatten nicht mehr viel Zeit. Die Klabauter waren konstant auf dem Vormarsch. Ab und an kam der Tross ein wenig ins Stocken, aber grob geschätzt kamen sie gut voran. Die Vorhut würde bald die ersten Schiffe des Hafens erreicht haben und dann würde das Schlachten beginnen. Anfangs würden die Menschen noch standhalten, doch schon nach kurzer Zeit überrannt werden. Sie waren zu wenige und vor allem zu wenige Muschelmagier. Er nahm noch einen tiefen Atemzug, dann ließ er sich wieder in die Fluten sinken und unter die Wasseroberfläche gleiten. Und während er immer tiefer und tiefer sank, bereitete er seinen ersten Zauber vor.

🎵 Heute haben wir den Musikliebhaber & DJ depaula zu Gast auf KataHaifisch. Geboren und aufgewachsen in Barcelona, begann seine musikalische Reise im Jahr 2018 in Hamburg. Dort entdeckte er seine persönliche Leidenschaft für die elektronische Musik. Dabei stand und steht die Erfahrung für die Tänzer auf dem Floor klar im Fokus. Stilistisch bewegt sich depaula zwischen Downtempo, Progressive und Minimal Einflüssen. Diese Prägung spiegelt sich auch in diesem Podcast wider. Das Set hat unverkennbar eine clubbige Nuance. Hier treffen Emotionen auf pure Lebenslust.

Heute präsentieren wir euch eine Special-Ausgabe unserer Igelkarussell-Reihe von R3NATA. Sie ist Resident bei der Mystic Creatures Crew und hat in diesem Jahr bereits auf einigen fantastischen Venues gespielt. Als absolutes Highlight zum Abschluss der Festival-Saison stand sie auf einer einzigartigen Bühne des Sa Terza Metari Festivals auf Sardinien. Dieses kleine, aber feine Festival am Strand in West-Sardinien gibt es bereits seit einigen Jahren und bildet eine Art Berliner Exklave, die den Festival-Sommer noch um einige Wochen verlängert. Ein Traum für jeden Downtempo-Liebhaber: Gelato, Pizza und erstklassiger Sound – was könnte man sich mehr wünschen?

Festivals sind zweifellos eine der aufregendsten Entdeckungen von R3NATA, seit sie in Berlin lebt. Sie bieten die Möglichkeit, für ein paar Tage die Realität zu vergessen und sich voll und ganz in Musik, großartige Menschen und ausgelassene Stimmung zu stürzen - ein Zustand purer Glückseligkeit und Freiheit. Wahrscheinlich sind sie die beste Ausrede überhaupt, um die Welt zu erkunden, nicht nur, um die Bühne zu rocken, sondern auch, um neue Länder und Ecken unserer Welt zu entdecken. Genau das war der Fall bei Sa Terza Metari. Sie erlebte die Zeit ihres Lebens, bei ihrer zweistündigen Playtime. Das Publikum war absolut sensationell und tanzte, als gäbe es keinen Morgen. Die Stimmung war schlichtweg elektrisierend, und alle waren in diesem Moment gefangen. Alles passte einfach perfekt zusammen, besonders die Location am Strand und die geniale Dekoration des Floors (ein besonderer Gruß an den Easy Tiger Floor <3).

Freut euch also auf die Aufnahme dieses außergewöhnlichen Moments und genießt zwei Stunden voller Downtempo-Magie.

Here is the recording from my label's anniversary that was hosted back in September in Berlin at @Klunkerkranich

It's been a while since i've played an extended opening set, and I had a lot of fun doing it again. 

The weather was perfect, the venue incredible and I was surrounded by incredible label artists and friends such as Dario Klein, Thommie G, Friends of Hannes and Pierre (half of Null)

I want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone at @Klunkerkranich for hosting us and taking care of us for the evening.
