For the 19th EP on Heimlich Musik, Cologne-based producer Dario Klein delivers
three gloomy bangers accompanied by remix contributions from JOIA, Samaha,
Daniel Jaeger, Kapoor and Matija. Inspired by the unique vibe of the streets of
Marrakech and based on live jams, the Djeema el Fna EP tells a story of music as
a concept beyond consciousness. Built around melodic lead synths and broken

drums, dark basslines contribute to the mesmerizing aesthetic of the original mi-
xes. JOIA’s interpretation of the title track puts on additional pressure with bass

frequencies going right under your skin, while Samaha transforms Djeema el Fna
into a euphoric hymn tailored for early morning hours.
With an almost criminal bassline, Daniel Jaeger’s version of Rahmos is a housey
floor killer. Kapoor’s remix sticks to the vibe of the original but adds a psychedelic
touch using hypnotic arpeggios. Rounding up a diverse set of remixes, Matjia’s
version of Rahmos is a dreamy composition with a touch of optimism garnished
by organic percussions.

The latest EP on Heimlich Musik is painting a colorful picture of downtempo ran-
ging from smooth grooves over melodic tech to cutting-edge industrial bleeps.

To figure out the secrets of the genom in 1990 the international „Human Genome Project“ has been founded. This scientific association wants to decode the Human DNA. By understanding DNA, researchers hoped to find out new methods to cure diseases. The project comes to an end in 2004. But first since 2021 the human genom is considered as completely decoded. Independently of this, many interactions between genes cannot be fully understood to this day. Therefore it seems important to focus on the whole system and not just study the individual parts. The Genom EP is the first solo EP from Kapoor at KataHaifisch and the fourth one on KataHaifisch at all. The two Songs of the EP are defined through strong Basslines and touched by amazing sounding Synths. With his musical journey Kapoor leads us into hidden realms of human existence and delights us with exciting Downtempo. Have fun with the Genom EP <3

For Club Mackan's next release, we have two supercharged tracks by the Italian duo Dog.ma with two equally charged remixes by Louis de Tomaso and Brandski. 

What do you get when you have four supercharged tracks within an electromagnetic field? You get electromagnetism. Or, in this case, you get 'Elettromagnetismo' since our tracks are fully charged with Italo disco, every single one of them!

As in true 80s fashion, both Elettromagnetismo and Darpah are charged with driving basslines, catchy one-finger melodies and vocal-sounding synthesisers. Darpah tends to feel a little more melodic with its beautiful chord progression, while Elettromagnetismo is energetic and straightforward. 

Louis de Tomaso's remix gives Elettromagnetismo even more of an electric feel. True to the original, but with his own style, it's safe to say that Louis's remix is supercharged. 

If the original tracks were made in true 80s fashion, then Brandski's remix is not just in true 80s fashion. It's the definition of it. With a classic rolling Italo bassline, Brandski's remix gives Darpah even more of an authentic 80s feeling than the original.
