Wooooow, people 🤯❤️😍 - what an outstanding experience playing at fusion festival for the first time! We proudly present the very first recording of a bassara live set! It's as raw and pure as our gig was - with a glitch here and there, but straight from the heart :)We had a lot of fun playing - and to see the dubstation packed with all of your smiling faces made us sooo happy.
Thanks to all the people dancing, shouting and feeling the groove with us at the dubstation! And thank you, Kulturkosmos, for making this great festival happen and inviting us for performing our second-ever live set.

"L.S. in Wonderland" is me telling a story. My story of finding wonderful inspirations in electronic music.
These are songs that have accompanied me over the last few years and songs which I just found days ago. Mixing those tracks, blending them together, showed me that there are a lot of similarities to the music that I was listening to, all merging into a very personal sound journey. 
I'm understanding a little more each day, which elements in music I love.
I feel like I've found a path that I want to continue after experimenting with so many different sounds of music over the last 10 years.
Almost feels like Arrival.

Unsere heutige Ausgabe entführt ins in die Schweiz zu Don Son, welchen wir bereits seit seinen Anfängen kennen und zu schätzen wissen. Sein Sound besticht aus einer Mischung aus verspielt organischen und treibenden Momenten, die somit jedem Raum zum Träumen und Tanzen geben. Sein für uns eingespieltes Set im XXL Format, vermittelt einen tollen Eindruck des oben beschriebenen und glänzt mit tollen Übergängen, sowie mit einer ganz besonderen Atmosphäre. Einer Stimmung, die einer Afterhour voll und ganz gerecht wird.

✔️ Was sind deine musikalischen Einflüsse? Was ist dein musikalischer Hintergrund?

Meine musikalischen Einflüsse sind weitreichend und ungebunden. Grundsätzlich fahre ich schon eine emotionale Schiene, da mir der Ausdruck der Gefühle immer sehr wichtig war, sei es durch Texte oder Melodien. Unmöglich, das in wenigen Worten zu konkretisieren. Auf der anderen Seite hat mich amerikanischer Hip Hop aus den 90ern und 2000ern sehr geprägt, ich rappte sogar selber für über 10 Jahre. Wir haben heute noch ein riesen Vergnügen in die über 1000 aufnahmen reinzuhören.

✔️ Was macht deiner Meinung nach eine gute Afterhour aus?

Auf alle Fälle Spass. Die richtige kombination aus Menschen, die eine tolle Synergie ergeben, und sich auch für ein wenig Schabernack nicht zu schade sind. Und selbstverständlich der passende Soundtrack, was aber kein bestimmter Stil sein muss, wenns passt, dann passts. Obst und Tee schadet auch nicht.

✔️ Welche Gedanken magst du uns zu deinem Mix mit auf den Weg geben?

Ich freue mich bereits seit einem Jahr auf den Tag der veröffentlichung. Natürlich ist das ein schöner Moment, zumal ich den Channel schon viele Jahre verfolge und deren Diversität sehr schätze. Mir war wichtig, ein paar eigene Tracks einzubauen, und drumherum eine Geschichte aufzubauen. Eine Mischung aus emotionalem, organischem Indie Dance entstand.

✪My music journey started when: When I moved to Miami in 2006, and started attending different parties and festivals. I always loved music but this time I was feeling more connected to it.

✪First thing I do when I come home: I give hugs & kisses to Eve and Billy (our little doggie)

✪My life as a film title: I think “ Rocky “ is the closest movie to  my actual life. It’s been a long and very difficult journey to be where I am right now, and internally I feel that there is still a long way to go…

💭 Im Leben ist Balance zeitweise ein Drahtseilakt. In der Mitte, ausgewogen, zwischen all den Zwängen und Verantwortlichkeiten, nur manchmal so richtig gut klappt. All seinen Pflichten nachzukommen, ist manchmal gar nicht so leicht, weil man zwischendurch immer wieder von seinen Prinzipien abweicht. Doch das ist zeitweise auch gar nicht so verkehrt, das Leben ist alles in allem eine spaßige Angelegenheit und bestenfalls auch unbeschwert.

🎵 Der heutige Podcast ist von Liebe Nachbarn, über die Maßen funky und einfach dem Flow folgend. Wie gemacht für den Frühling und die warme Sonne auf dem Gesicht, erheitern lockere Riffs und entspannte Texte das Gemüt.
