Created instinctively and intuitively by Marconi Union, Weightless has been claimed to have therapeutic properties in the way the track almost appears to have a heartbeat running through it which slows down very gently throughout the piece, encouraging a deep sense of relaxation in the body, It's use of specific rhythms, beep bass tones, frequencies and intervals induce an almost trance like state in the listener.

This hot new Local Talk release from Dirtytwo comes in two versions. The original version clocks in at over 10 min with a Robin S styled bassline, deep chords and thumping beats. There is also a nasty dub remix which got a slightly more techy feel but still keeping the house feeling intact. The collaboration came about after both acts met up on the global festival circuit throughout 2012. Creative emails flew back and forth across Europe before the trio finally settled on the skeleton of ‘Mammoth’ as a potential new track. Speaking about the collaboration from his studio in Germany, MOGUAI said, “The track is not so far away from my own solo work. I said to myself, with the right mix this could be something huge, so we got into the studio together and at the end, we had the finished mix that you know now.”
 
A delicious slice of skewed electronica with ‘fist-pump’ written all over it, this titan of a track packs as much energy as it does technical class; crashing bass sections, warped synths and a huge breakdown combining the strengths of both production elements in one fell swoop. ‘Mammoth’ displays the extensive array of musical influences that these two world-renowned acts are constantly drawing their inspiration from, fusing everything together seamlessly for an anthem that will surely be an enormous smash in clubs and at festivals all over the world throughout 2013.
