Winter has come, snow gleams so white, Frost crackles, winds take flight. Earth slumbers now, her spirit calm, Awaiting dreams, till spring's sweet psalm.

Longest nights, fire in the hearth's embrace, Old tales resound, in this sacred space. Ancestors remembered, souls ever near, May this time be blessed, banishing all fear!

Deep slumber reigns, stillness o'er the field, Hidden power, beneath snow concealed. We fear not darkness, nor icy chill, For life awaits, by God's own will.

"Zovŭ Vesny i Jaryla" (Call of Spring and Jarylo) An invigorating song celebrating nature's awakening, the first plowing, and the sowing of seeds, invoking Jarylo, the god of spring and fertility, for new growth.

Spring has arrived, snow now melts away, Earth awakens, from slumber's sway. Green leaves unfurl on branches high, Jarylo comes, life reborn beneath the sky.

First plowing done, furrow deep and wide, Seeds now fall, a promise high to abide. Birds softly sing, spring's glory they praise, New lineage grows, towards bright light it strays.

Prayer on our lips, hope in every heart, May our field be full, fulfilling its part. Lada with us, Peace in our home's embrace, A song we'll sing, in this springtime grace!

Zovŭ Vesny i Jaryla

Tom's piano melodies are so inspirational, not just to me (Mark) but also to Jussi, Georg and Boon. The energy of this piece carried us all off on a wonderful journey. We hope you enjoy the joyful enthusiasm that Tom initiated. Tom also gave me the key line, 'My Way Through' and I had to run with it as it made so much sense with this uplifting and hopeful music.
