SMASH THE HOUSE DELIVER UNSTOPPABLE NEW ‘STAY A WHILE’ REMIXES

After rising as one of the biggest tracks in dance music this year with support from the likes of David Guetta, Afrojack and W&W, ‘Stay A While’ has made its mark as one of the highlights of the year for dance music fans. Receiving lice plays at some of the biggest and best locations around the globe including the main stage of Tomorrowland and Balaton Sound Festival, a few months later this dust has yet to settle for the massive track, with a 7-piece remix bundle forthcoming from some of the most diverse, interesting and forward thinking artists on the scene. 

Starting off with some magic is the laid-back take from ANGEMI, introducing a glistening chord workout from the original alongside tight, low slung grooves which add anticipation for the introduction of a classic vocal. Next up is Magic Wand with their stellar take, underlying deep tones across the vocal work which adds excitement to the vibe, when the lively, fresh beats are introduced into the mix. Third on the list a tech-driven approach from Moguai, stripping things back with kinetic percussion progressions.

Moving on deeper into the package, the heat continues to develop with ROCKSTARZ vs BOOSTEDKIDS, enlisting heavy clap build-ups and leading into evolving piano hits, with fever pitched drops adding to the excitement. Ummet Ozcan takes the reins on the 5th track, with its unique take having already made waves with DJ support from Smash The House mainstays Wolfpack. Adding some dynamic, floating chords to the equation is ATB’s club remix, sneaking in rolling piano stabs which perfectly compliment the rising acapella. Last up on the monumental hit list is Firebeatz, finishing things off in a fury with huge melodic breakdowns, sure to cause a heatwave on the dancefloor.

The idea for Fine Day was to use a sample from this 1983 record 'Jane - It's A Fine Day' and combine it with new elements to create a fresh production. When I heard Don was enthusiastic about the track, it felt like my birthday and Christmas fell on the same day! Releasing 'Fine Day' on Hexagon getting support from Don means a lot to me.
