Our next mix was created by Samira. 
Based in Rotterdam, she is not only active in arts and culture as the owner of Bureau Convoi, a lobbying agency for cultural organizations and working at Nest, an Art Space in The Hague, but she is also extremely active in the music scene. 
Be it at Operator Radio, where she also has her own show called "Ever so often", at the Grauzone Festival or as a great DJ. 

Her mix reflects her musical diversity in a perfect way. Menacing, sluggish beats, haunting synths and powerful electro crafted all together into a dark journey. Enjoy.

Now spending some quality time with Rotterdam-based creative @2_29! 

His whole life is somewhat based around music, creativity and DJ-ing. From elementary school on, little Gerran had an interest in knobs that bend sound. Later on it developed to some basic DJ skills when his group of friends (he still hangs out with) had a rule at hang outs: you can play your music, as long as you mix it in.

With a few bends and turns in his DJ life, Gerran is now focusing on a down-tempo elektronic breakbeat sound with his alias 2:29, which is slowly recognized in the local scene of Rotterdam. The sounds of 2:29 can be heard regularly on the internet waves of the online radio station @operator-radio. 

With the Show UTC+1:00 Gerran performs the sounds he's searching for during a night out or when strolling on a festival. Besides DJ'ing there is producing & promoting events and festivals as a hobby that totally got out of hand. The Operator resident loves to balance between a raw industrial and funky electronic vibe.

Ever so often is a monthly show at Operator by Samira, a dj that usually comes back to a darker palette of melancholic electro, acid and new beat.

Curated by Tiko Gogoberize, aka TINA, Holy Oscillation is a monthly radio show focusing on experimental electroacoustic music and the influence of 20th-century classical composers. The show features musicians from different backgrounds, live performances, and guest music theorists. It provides young musicians and composers a space to collaborate, experiment, and share their work.

Kuji Davituliani is a Georgian experimental musician currently based in Vienna. Working with electroacoustic, ambient and improvised sound, he was part of Consilia Ensemble and later founded Metastasis, blending acoustic instruments with electronics . Beyond performance, he curated events series Zeenari and teach at Ilia state university and Tbilisi state conservatory.

Maria Isidora Vincentelli is performance maker based in Athens. She works collaboratively with multidisciplinary artists to create performance work that cultivates the empowering and intuitive intelligence of the body to create states for dreaming new ways of being in the world.
