Snow Storm – Steam-Boat off a Harbour’s Mouth by J. M. W. Turner’s (1842) immediately immerses the viewer in a tumultuous scene where nature and machine collide in a whirling storm of sea, wind, and snow. At first glance, the painting feels almost abstract a vortex of movement and light that seems to spin endlessly around a fragile vessel caught at the storm’s center. The steam-boat, barely distinguishable amid the swirling brushwork, becomes a symbol of human ambition and vulnerability, its mechanical strength rendered powerless against the immensity of the natural world. Turner’s mastery of texture and motion is on full display here: thick, gestural strokes of grey, white, and muted brown evoke the chaos of the storm while dissolving traditional boundaries between sea and sky. So, we decided to collaborate and finish it together, and the vision was simple. Like its title, the track lives in that space of contradiction, with drum & bass fueling the core, it still caries a slow tempo and emotive energy.

NatureTempo welcomes Wetten Bass from Switzerland.

Part of the Swiss party collective Tanzfreunde, Wetten Bass has been shaping unforgettable in- and outdoor gatherings in the beautiful Swiss mountains twice a year. Behind the decks since 2012, his  musical journey began with deep house and cosmic disco, creating warm and soulful dance floor moments.

A visit to Fusion Festival in 2018 opened a new chapter — the discovery of downtempo, with its organic grooves and dreamy soundscapes, which quickly became a deep passion and a defining element of his sets for several years.

Recently, he has returned to faster BPMs, exploring energetic and dynamic sounds that bring back the driving pulse of the dance floor - while still carrying the depth and emotion that have always been at the heart of his music.

The forest shimmered with little pockets of sunlight when NOFRONTERA’s live instruments broke the silence. Each note carried the smell of resin and warm earth, a pulse that seemed to echo from somewhere beneath the roots. Then CELAD stepped into the moment, his djembe improvisation rising like a heartbeat awakening the trees—raw, warm, and impossibly alive. LOAN responded with movement that felt both fierce and weightless, like wind catching in fabric. People drifted closer, following the soft call of the melodies, barefoot on the mossy ground, carried by that bright, uplifting energy that seemed to braid all three artists into one vivid, breathing landscape.
