THIS IS THE OLDEST TUNE OF THE BUNCH.

I STARTED THIS ONE WHEN I WAS ORIGINALLY DIVING HEADFIRST INTO ~2002’s ERA TRANCE AND HAPPY HARDCORE. I ABSOLUTELY HATED THESE GENRES WHEN I FIRST WAS GETTING INTO DANCE MUSIC, AND I WAS GLAD I COULD RETURN TO THEM WITH A MORE OPEN MIND.

I FOUND THAT RETURNING TO THIS BORROWED NOSTALGIA, THERE WERE MANY SONGS THAT PORTRAYED IMMENSE DEPTH AND COMPLEXITY, AND I’M NOT REALLY ABOUT EITHER OF THOSE THINGS.

SO I TOOK WHAT I COULD FROM SOME OF THOSE TUNES AND THEN MADE A WEIRD HARDSTYLE / DUBSTEP TUNE OUT OF THEM. I FIGURED IT WAS THE MOST I COULD DO TO STAY TRUE TO THE LENSES I ORIGINALLY VIEWED THE GENRES I WAS NOW RESEARCHING SO THOROUGHLY. 

WEIRD FACT, I’M NOT ENTIRELY SURE WHERE THE ORIGINAL VOCAL IS FROM, IT WAS PART OF SOME 90’S ACAPELLA PACK THAT I DOWNLOAD FROM SOME FORUM A LONG LONG TIME AGO. I’VE WARPED AND TWISTED IT SO MUCH HERE THAT I DON’T THINK IT’S GOING TO BE IMMEDIATELY RECOGNIZABLE TO ANYONE, BUT THAT’S JUST WHAT I LIKE TO DO WHEN I CAN’T TRACK EVERYTHING DOWN TO IT’S SOURCE. (IF YOU ARE THE OWNER OF THE ORIGINAL, PLEASE DON’T SUE ME, -thx)

I REALLY LIKED THE AUDIO WHIPLASH THAT THIS ONE HAS TO IT, AND I HOPE YOU DO TOO. IT’S GOT A LOT OF MY TROPES IN IT, BUT I THINK THEY ARE ORGANIZED IN A NEW, FUN WAY. WHO KNOWS HOW LONG I CAN KEEP IT INTERESTING?
