Neo-Nostalgia, out on 27 August 2021, is the first alluring glimpse of Private Agenda’s forthcoming sophomore album: A Mannequin. A Mannequin will be released on Lo Recordings on 22 October 2021 via digital platforms and limited-edition LP. 

Neo-Nostalgia is time-travelling in musical form. A warm electronic pop exposition in the vein of Toro y Moi and Bullion, it’s a throwback to the future. 

A compelling first glimpse of their latest body of work entitled A Mannequin, lead single Neo-Nostalgia blends the forward-thinking electronica of Jessy Lanza and Yves Tumor, along with the soft, soulful pop of Babeheaven and Erika de Casier.

Terra Escura, condenses the project's sound identity with intensity and focus. Amidst dense layers and a nocturnal atmosphere, Ritornello prints pulsating riffs that traverse atmospheres. The introspection marks his aesthetic.

The ambiance is raw, rough, with textures that refer to rust and desolate mental landscapes. The techno structure remains firm and breathes between noises and silences.

Critically acclaimed London quartet, ISQ are kicking the year off with a bang by sharing the Urchin remix of their song, "L.A.S" on February 5th. The remix is taken from their upcoming album, Requiem For the Faithful 2.0: The Remixes, to be released on May 21st via CP Records, which is a complete compilation of remixed songs released on their original LP, Requiem For The Faithful. ISQ have made their mark on the music industry, having their second album, Too selected as a Time Out London’s Critics Choice and performing at the London Jazz Festival (2015, 2016 and 2018) before they went on to host several other sold-out performances. The quartet have had radio play on BBC Radio Devon by David Fitzgerald and were interviewed on Jumoke Fashola’s Inspirit show, on BBC London Live as well as supported by Jazz FM.

We imagined the song as coming to terms with the fact your relationship just isn’t working anymore. You’ve both grown up, and things are different. The common tragedy of being deeply incompatible with a partner you already love. In the verses it’s the things you say to your lover, and maybe to yourself too: I can change, I’ll do better, I’ll be better. And then the chorus of realizing the other shoe has already dropped, knowing it’s already over, soberly, if you really ask yourself.

In classic TWINKIDS fashion we of course tied some loss-of-innocence nostalgia into that idea. 911 we’re sad!
