Por una parte, Sabi se relaciona con la música a  los 13 años de edad, descubriendo los sonidos de percusión con una batería, mas tarde con 16 años, se introduce con la música electrónica  iniciándose con un mixer y unos tocadiscos.
 
Más tarde, Ed Warner sigue su camino como Dj, gracias a Sabi. 
Es a partir del año 2002 cuando deciden unificar sus fuerzas para formar Departure Brothers, mas conocidos como DB.
 
Este dúo barcelonés es el principal culpable de las sonadas fiestas Save The Day, durante los veranos del 2009 hasta el 2013. 

En Abril del 2011 inauguran el bar 33/45, al cabo de un año, el sello que regentan, Struments Records, lanza al mercado su primera referencia.
