Celebrating the Transensations mark of 50th release, our label manager GORKIZ joined forces with K LOVESKI on this amazing EP Arboreal, including stunning remixes by the renowned artists Luciano Scheffer and Greenage. After his first appearance on the label for the remix duties of TRS023 , the Russian Progressive legend K Loveski, returns in this great GORKIZ collab EP. First track “Arboreal” , it’s a stunning Progressive delight , with emotional and soothing atmospheric tones and melodic synth touches. The Brazilian progressive master Luciano Scheffer, imprints his sound signature, touched with superb Percussive Elements. The B side “Echos of Eons”, is a well crafted progressive roller with a very emotional atmosphere and a beautiful break filled with moog elements. Greenage redesigns it through his flawless quality standard with some organic grooves, imprinting his personal touch to the track. Hailing from Saint Petersberg (Russia), the extremely talented Jiminy Hop made his initial appearance on our imprint in early 2021 with his single - "Tension" and soon afterwards followed it up with a milestone 3-tracker EP featuring "Summered", "Contemplation" and "Desire", an ode to the the melody-rich side of progressive house with it's bright tones and ethereal emotions. After garnering wide-spread support, we're thrilled to present our 54th release that features new remixes of the EP by label returnees - Eric Lune, Dimuth K and Anton MAKe.

Returning to the imprint after his debut EP and contribution to our 'Tales of Time' series in 2019 is Melbourne (Australia) based artist - Eric Lune. Ever since, he's been consistently putting out incredible music, most notably on Madloch's 'Sound Avenue' + '3rd Avenue', Guy Mantzur's 'Plattenbank' and the US Goliath 'Proton Music'. Revisiting Jiminy Hop's title track - "Summered", Eric Lune channeled his inner sun-kissed memories and elevated the track into a whole new dimension by bringing in as many euphoric feelings, highlighted by a 90's inspired lead and guitar riff.

Andrea Cassino, with such celebrated releases as “Divine”, “Losing Part of Me” and “Asante”, has been at the forefront of the progressive house scene for almost 15 years. Remixes for Kamilo Sanclemente & Dabeat, Rudy, Michael A and GMJ have also been notable highlights in the Italian-born producer’s star-studded portfolio, as he now returns to remix Savvas. Characterised by an effortless bouncing bass groove and immaculately syncopated percussion, the Andrea Cassino interpretation of “Wonder” retains some of the core melodic themes while turning it into a rolling, club-friendly gem. Sweeping string passages and the haunting vocal prevalent in the original make their presence heard, particularly at the atmospheric and evocative breakdown before the mesmerising groove takes hold once more.

Plaisirs Sonores Records, the vanguard of underground melodic music, proudly unveils the 'Don't Let This End EP' by Elliot Moriarty.

TEN: The Archive Series, Pt. 6

Nebulus

Reinvigorating their collaborative partnership Dmitry Molosh and Michael A return to Cid Inc's Replug Records with 'Integral'. Hailing from Belarus, both Dmitry and Michael sit amongst progressive music's elite guard. Their respective solo productions continue to earn play and support from the genre's premiere tastemakers Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, while also landing them releases on Hope Recordings and Sudbeat Music. Also calling Replug a comfortable home, Dmitry and Michael now return to the label with their first collaborative project in almost four years.

Much loved for their exploration of all things progressive and groovy, the Belarus duo exceeds expectations here, delivering two stunning pieces of music beginning with the title selection 'Integral'. Set in motion by a warm, chunky foundation, its robust core comes up quickly, with layers of finely tuned drums, crunchy rhythms and squelchy synths uniting in a fiery sonic comet. Shifting energy into the main break, heartfelt harmonics and fragmented melodies gently blanket the electric underbelly, resonating on a higher frequency as tasteful modulation rises and the groove drops for a chugging finale.

Operating on a similar sonic plane is the companion piece 'Twelve Days'. Otherworldly in nature, tough beats and dark stabs anchor the journey as the piece flows through a series of pulsating rhythms and mind-bending effects. Continuing on an unpredictable storyboard, ominous overlays and percussive flashes highlight the first act, perfectly setting up an icy break. Adding further intrigue, a wave of tranquil arps provide an effervescent foundation for the duo's dystopian soundscapes, before building to a granular sizzle as a rush of drums ignites a powerful crescendo. It caps off a hugely successful project from two of progressive music's most talented artists, further solidifying Replug's place at the top of this burgeoning genre.

With 'Nifty Fifty' Francesco Pico and Paul Hazendonk celebrated the 50th release of Magnitude Recordings earlier this year. Now we've reached release number 60 and it's time to revisit their anniversary release with two fresh new remixes!

First up it's the Analog Jungs duo who deliver a proper rolling builder in true Argentinian style, followed by Kostya Outta who has a more wobbly, groovy approach. A strong groover this one.

Two lovely, yet totally different remixes to please your soul. Nifty Sixty style ;-)

Magnitude Recordings was started by @francescopico in 2005. The label quickly gained international recognition in the tech house- and progressive house scenes, working with well respected artists such as Eelke Kleijn (as Backroom Boyz, a collab with Francesco Pico himself), Ferreck Dawn, Roell Sapphire, Harold Heath and Camiel Daamen to name a few, which gained a lot of DJ support. 

After a seven year hiatius the label returned in 2018 under de wings of the @manual-music record company. Freshly revamped and serving as a home for the sound Francesco Pico loves most; intelligent, groovy and rolling progressive house. Kamilo Sanclemente, Not Demure, Ewan Rill, K Loveski, Golan Zocher, Callecat, Jaap Ligthart, Paul Hazendonk and Ric Niels are a small cross-section of the artists that call Magnitude Recordings their home nowadays, making Magnitude a brand operating at the forefront of the modern day progressive house scene.
