“Collapsed Horizon” is an original poem about the collapse of illusions and regaining of freedom.

Set against an epic, Asian-infused soundscape of guzheng vibes, deep ceremonial drums, and cinematic martial rhythms, the poem unfolds like a warrior’s reckoning.

The haunting male voice moves through dread, loss of aim, and the collapse of projection—then gathers force, reclaiming autonomy with the clarity of a drawn bow.
A fusion of myth, introspection, and battlefield intensity, both an inner war chant and a vow of freedom.


COLLAPSED HORIZON
(original poem)

Eye to eye 
I face my dread:
the frozen point
between collapsed horizons.
No centered stillness,
but forced push
into the pit
where hopes go to die.

With childish pride
I marched 
under freedom’s banner,
yet never grasped
that a horizon
held by you,
even under cloud-veiled sky,
gave the arrow
its direction.

Now, the hands
holding the armed bow
bleed,
for not having 
a target
to release
the condensed power.

My failings step now
into the light -
making you
the keeper of my horizon,
offending Life,
the only 
weaver and dissolver,
breaking my sacred
vow of freedom.

Now I stand
with no masters,
free to choose
my own horizon.
