Yayo & Eloi are brothers, raised in Galicia and based in Madrid. Together they are known as El Cuerpo del Disco, the duo that long ago infected Madrid with a fervor for exciting nights and Disco music.

Ten years after starting this project, El cuerpo del Disco have become a classic in the booths of Madrid clubs. Their wide-ranging taste make their sets swirl in constant evolution, staying fresh, dynamic and connecting with their faithful crowd at an inexplicable level.

They are currently residents at best-disco-in-town Café Berlín and regulars at Villanos (formerly Caracol), where they promote their event Cuerpo a Cuerpo. They are also regulars at Razzmatazz (Barcelona), El Sol, and Siroco, and co-organize the mysterious event La Casa del Ácido.



Their sessions blend classic disco and boogie with old-shool and contemporary house, incorporating influences from tropical, acid, deep, trance, and beyond. Always surfing the wave between pure underground and dance music for all audiences.

We balance the new with the trailblazers of old, seeking out authenticity and new movements. Nací en Barcelona en abril del 86, toda mi vida he estado rodeado de música e instrumentos. De pequeño empecé con el piano, que pronto lo dejaría por la batería, instrumento que empecé a tocar con 12 años. He estado en una infinidad de bandas, tocando la música que componían otros, y aunque en parte esa música también me pertenezca, de una forma u otra, no ha sido hasta ahora (2013-2014) que me he decidido a componer por mi cuenta.

Mis influencias son muy variadas y esto se puede comprobar con las canciones que iré colgando...

Actualmente tengo alrededor de unos 12 temas acabados en formato demo, que iré subiendo periódicamente, espero que quien lo escuche, le guste o no, lo diga, estoy abierto a ideas, criticas, buenas o negativas... solo quiero decir que estoy aquí para aprender y pasarlo bien! :P
