This mix will probably appeal to about 3 people on my soundcloud but I've spent the last year or so building up my F Project collection so thought I'd do a little mix!

F Project was a Formation sub label between 1992 to 1994 and had some awesome underground rave tracks from DJ SS, Tekniq, Mastersafe, Nexus & Blowback, Matty Mashup and more. The tracks were often very simple but exciting with some amazing sounds! Here's a few of my collection so far. Enjoy!

The United Colours of One Nation was a massive drum n' bass rave at The Island in Ilford, East London, held in September 1997. I didn't go (I was only 16 at the time) but I did buy the tape pack afterwards and listen to it. And listen to it. And listen to it some more. With fond memories of that tape pack, I thought it would be fun to go through the tracklistings courtesy of the RollDaBeats forum and build my own mix to capture the vibe of the night, featuring at least three tracks from each dj. With the dj's on the night including @andyc_ram, @kennyken, @nickyblackmarket, @j-j-frost, Randall, @djdarrenjay, @marvellous-cain, and @micky-finn-1 you know you are getting a cream of the crop selection!

Obviously this set is very heavy on the anthems, but I wanted to provide an authentic taste of what a big 1997 drum n' bass rave would have sounded like. I also wanted something that was guaranteed to put a smile on my face for the coming months. I hope it has the same effect on you!
