'Uptown Sheep' - from the cassette release 'Hooked on Crystal Zoom' - 1984.
Song by Mike Weston and Mahalski. Partly ripped off from Lou Reed's 'Dirt' of 'Street Hassle'. Recorded by Mike on a two track at his place. 
Basically its a neo-dadaist swipe at the universe from the point of view of a flock of sheep who are beginning to suspect that something 'is up'. They are of course correct.
There is a version of this song put out as a Flying Nun single(with 'Dunedin Sound on 45' on the other side) but I don't have it - and from memory while the recording quality on this one isn't great it does capture something of the original madness.

Low fi random and spontaneous.
Any means is acceptable to affect the process.
It all started out with tape to tape overdubbing and mutation and grew from a need to experiment and create 'music' where there weren't any instruments available.
 Now the dirty old tracks from 2 decades ago provide a mass of sound font and palette to sample and manipulate.

Industrial, alternative, electronica and experimental... because create.
