Why Krsna Tests Bhaktas 17.05

Mahanidhi Madan Gopal Das Babaji Maharaja resides in Sri Radha Kunda, Sridhama Vrindavana. He is an Indian citizen with the legal name Mahanidhi Swami. In 1975, Srila Prabhupada accepted him as a student, naming him Mahanidhi Das. 

In December 2014, from 108 Pandita Sri Krishna Dasji Maharaja (vyakaran-vaisnava darshana tirtha), he accepted traditional Gaudiya Vaisnava sannyasa (babaji vesh). Out of respect for Prabhupada, who was Sri Krishna Das Babaji's Vrindavan friend in the 1960's, he named his new disciple Mahanidhi Madan Gopal das. His wonderful Prabhupada memories are in a book titled "Srila Prabhupada, A Friend to All” by Smt. Mula Prakriti Dasi. 

Babaji Maharaja lectures and writes on Gaudiya Vaisnava siddhanta, sadhana and sadhya. All are welcome to the weekly Sunday Satsangs 4-6 p.m. at the ashram.
