Khamoosh: "en persan signifie silencieux, sans voix"
L'artiste est le souverain de son monde subjectif où il règne et crée. Ce monde subjectif n'en est pas moins ancré dans un monde réel et objectif où il mène sa vie matérielle, où il marche, mange et bois avec et comme les autres. Les vices et les malheurs de ce monde réel conduit l'artiste responsable de mettre en dialogue son monde subjectif aves les autres, afin de rendre la réalité plus vivable, en y apportant une nouvelle couleur.
Pourtant, l'artiste s’avère parfois incapable d'assumer ce fardeau, comme cela est déployé dans la pièce de Khamoosh. Il s'effondre, s’affaisse, s’écrase.
Khamoosh est une pièce de musique conçue à partir de l’atmosphère pétrifiée de l'histoire de l'art en Iran. Les souverains politiques de tous les temps se sont constamment et sinistrement emparés de la musique. Face aux prétentions des souverains politiques, l'artiste se retrouve en malaise et met en avant sa propre souveraineté. Mais il se retrouve seul; tout le monde est pétrifié autour de lui. Personne ne parle, ne l'entend, et ne vient à son secours.
L'artiste demeure seul avec des statues en pierre, silencieuses, en forme humaine autour de lui.
C'est ainsi que le silence de l'artiste est déployé dans "Khamoosh".
