Mahesh Ramakrishnan is the founder of Mahamaya Dogs, a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing and restoring dignity to street dogs in India and New York City. Before founding Mahamaya, Mahesh built a successful career in investing and entrepreneurship — beginning at Goldman Sachs, later joining a global investment fund, and eventually founding EV3, a venture capital firm supporting the next generation of internet infrastructure and identity innovation.

A graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Business School, Mahesh Ramakrishnan splits his time between the U.S. and India. A lifelong vegetarian and advocate for animal rights, he is guided by a deep commitment to compassion, resilience, and purpose — values that define both his work and Mahamaya’s mission.
