We are proud to present Deckert, an incredibly talented artist. Deckert, who in this case is offering a solo release, is part of the Duo Deorbiting. He has been released on labels such as Frau Blau, Moblack, Connected and many others.

His very personal style, stands out from the "standards" we listen to in many tracks nowadays, in fact these two songs immediately captured us.

To complete the release we asked Aaaron (Innervisions, Yoshitoshi, Watergate) to remix one of the songs and the result was exceptional.

"The 30th release from ØSCILLATE is here, and it’s from more homegrown Liverpool talent, and the latest ØSCILLATE member, Larmour. Three mind-benders are within the aptly titled EP, Shattered Reality.

First up, Inside Out. A broken beat carries this beauty along, with rising synths pads, and hypnotic melodies throughout. The dark underbelly of this track gives it some serious weight - a perfect tune for building tension and keeping classy. 

The title track speaks for itself. Huge sounds in this one. The percussion runs tight in, the flecks of acid get beneath your skin, and the atmospheres build into drops that will leave you needing a nappy. 

The return to 4x4 patterns and driving percussion make The Calling, well, the calling. Full of attitude and distinctly in within the theme of the whole EP, this rounds off the three tracks in fine fashion."

PREMIERE: Deckert - A Line In The Sand (Aaaron Remix) [Kinesen Records]

The Selador family goes pan-global once again, with our latest continent-spanning release
being the result of a pandemic induced collaboration between Carlos Barbero (Panama)
and Enes Çakir (Turkey), with Germany’s Jepe and Ede (Turkey, currently based in
Germany) on remix duties. All are making their Selador debuts, and we couldn’t be
happier.
Of course, Messrs Seaman & Parry always have ears and eyes permanently open for
forward thinking new music, be it on their DJ travels or during a pandemic – and this single
is proof that we are a label that does listen to demos. Be it via email, Whats App or
Messenger, the Selador is never closed.
Carlos has been building himself quite a reputation in Central America, sharing club and
festival stages with the likes of Re.You, Anja Schneider, Oliver Koletzki whilst Enes runs
the Dawgs Musik company in Istanbul for events and podcasts, and has played alongside
the likes of James Zabiela, Timo Maas – and Dave Seaman. It was a perfect case of
isolation creation when the two hooked up during lockdown to make ‘Wake Up’, inviting
Seher K to add the cherry on top
.
All three interpretations feature Seher’s breathy vocal, pleasingly acidic squelchiness, and
just the right amount of electronic menace.
Carlos and Enes’ Original mix has a metallic sheen, with competing hooks but everything
in the right place as the sonic stars align
.
Jepe’s remix opens with the thud of a powerful kick drum and a psycho killer bassline, and
takes us deeper, with the vocal more imposing in the mix
.
Ede’s mix, by contrast, is a funky breaks- driven acidic builder, an ethereal vibe set by the
snatched vocal samples, a Mediterranean vibe
.
