Saw a Passive the Rapper freestyle, my friend lowbrine suggested sampling it into a beat.

I tagged Passive, and he came through in a big way.

Hell's Paradise has waaaay too much internal dialogue and the characters are a little cheesy, but the animation is beautiful, and the story is interesting enough.

Got a vocalist currently camping on this one. Hopefully, we get a song out of it soon.

Deathless

Made this for a contest to win this dope beat made by producer Hidden Dragon.

It's been a few months with no word back so I'm going ahead and posting it.

Man, I can't wait till next season of Heavenly Delusion.

Such a great anime.

Hidden Dragon Freestyle

Finally made a new AMV.

Inuyashiki was a great anime.

Some of the effects just look a little too digital to me, but it's unquestionably a beautiful anime.

Throw in an interesting hero and compelling villain and--voila--solid story, too.

Also, super violent.

Mile High Club

Darling in the Franxx gives off big Evangelion vibes.

Though, the character dynamics and plot points are a bit different.

Loved 002 and a certain other similar character (no spoilers), among other things.

Great animation and music, too.

Ending was forgettable but whatever.

Seeing Red

Mushoku Tensei really surprised me.

I'm not huge on isekai anime, and the main character is a manga-level pervert.

But season 1 really kept my attention.

You get great animation, fight scenes, plotting, character development, etc.

Season 2's a slight letdown so far but not remotely unwatchable.

Swordplay

I was very pleasantly surprised by Mortal Kombat Legends: Snow Blind.

Great animation.

Much more interesting and original ideas than more traditional Mortal Kombat films.

And made use of some typically very underused characters.

For any fans of gory dystopian future Westerns and dark anime.

Mortal Kombat

One of the last anime films with great, mostly hand-drawn animation and CGI that's integrated pretty well.

Still a standard in anime animation to this day some 20 years later.

If you like vampires, gory dystopian future Westerns, and dark anime, this is the anime for you.

Vampire Food

Loved Jin Roh. I love it even better when I rewrite the story in my AMV.

Along with Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, one of the last anime films to so thoroughly embrace wonderful hand-drawn art.

I need to re-watch it soon.

The Garden of Sinners anime series is pretty underrated IMHO.

Dark, psychological, philosophical, visually engaging. Probably too serious and intense for most Western anime viewers though.

Which is why I strung together these clips and paired them with one of my darker, groovier, more atmospheric beats.

Battle Angel Alita was fun. Some of the fights in the series were certainly much better and cooler than the anime as a whole.

The best fights definitely fit the vibe of this beat though.
