Guiding us into another week of extraordinary expeditions is the DJ, multidisciplinary artist, and LYL radio resident from Estonia based in our hometown; Julia Mira. Inspired by her background in painting, as a DJ she takes up music as her palette. Her selections are utterly unpredictable, layering bold brushstrokes of bass with euphoric rave climaxes and leftfield experimentalism. Approaching each set like a canvas, a blend of sensations is evoked, leaving sensual, imaginative space for lucid dreams, vivid stories, and an air of mystery to arise.

In between her bi-monthly show Mothernism on LYL, her frequent features on RRFM & Future Intel, donning the mantle of playing at the Red Light Radio of Dekmantel 2019 & furiously reheating that feat again two years later at Selectors, you catch a glimpse of why we have come to adore her so much here and you instantly know we have left episode 244 of the series in the most caple of hands.
