Majesty Mad is a music project founded in 2020 and probably the best thing I could do: A new kind of Psychedelic House.

Since 2006, my journey took me more and more into the depths of house music, where I find my roots. On this platform of speed and groovy basslines, I'm integrating mostly analogue elements of trance, techno, lofi, but also deep house as well as my voice. I love the 707, 808 and 909 and I use em every way I can.

The concept "Majesty Mad" is a kind of punk, as its name already says. A humourous rebellion against the machinery of digitalization and the substitude of the working class, but, it's also a sound project focussed on creating a crispy house sound and make your mind float or be driven into ecstasy by a pumping drumset.

All Tracks are written and performed by me, upcoming 4-Track-"Majesty Mad EP" with some vocals from vocal-artist Murphy Jones. Mastering: Dubplates + Mastering, Berlin.

We're an independent Record Label founded in 2018. Working with artists such as TIBASKO, Dot Major, Raffa FL, Rules, Azzecca, Hugel, AmyElle, Le Boom, Jax Jones, Arielle Free, Archie Holmes, Selena Faider, Mason, Dejector + many more.

A boy once believed releasing music and getting played by the likes of Carl Cox to Roger Sanchez to dj Roog would be living the dream. Not quite, as it turned out. Experience taught him it's all about the ability to express yourself, your thoughts and feelings.

Satisfaction and inspiration originate from Robbie's social work at the local youth center, where he works on a daily basis to motivate teenages in exploring their musical talents. He experienced that any kid, once it receives some devoted attention and guidance, rather works on music than it wanders the streets looking for trouble. He enjoyes discussing their music with them and even gets them to work with some of their idols, either in the studio or on stage as a dj. Perhaps it's no coincidence that his biggest track to date was called "Robbie Taylor - The Guide". Well, that actually might be coincidence. ;-)

Most of his work is produced whenever he returns to the studio, straight from the club. Once inspired it usually doesn't take him more than 2 hours to finish a track. He perceives it as a gift to be able to translate his ideas into music that fast, but meanwhile he takes it as a challenge to focus on his works a little more to get it to a yet personally unexplored level.

In 2015 he raised the bar as from now on he'll just be playing own work in his sets. He therefore won't play any set for the first six months of this year (except for some unannounced try-outs), to work on his repertoire - producing a whole range of new tracks. That also includes remixes and personal edits of tracks he likes best from others. Exciting times ahead!

In 2008, Denis Lihotzky and Max Keck noticed a void in the Cologne underground music scene. So the two friends decided to start a project with the aim to fill that void: to provide Cologne with a regular event, which focuses on Melodic Techno. As an ode to their homeland, the Oberbergischer Land, they named their event Bergwacht or “Mountain Rescue”, and began to host parties once a month in Cologne’s Artheater. Denis “Liho”, who not only manages its bookings, but is also Bergwacht’s resident DJ, programs each event with an eye for upcoming talent and an ear for extraordinary music. Bergwacht’s guest DJs continue to attract a loyal and energetic audience, and by 2012, Bergwacht has become an important part of the Cologne underground Techno scene. Continuing to follow their passion, in September of 2012, the Oberbergischer troupe launched Bergwacht Records as an outlet to curate and present the music they love most, “Melodic Techno”. Their debut release features Max Keck and his longtime friend and collaborator Sven Kirchner as Tool..8 with remixes by Lanny May and Boss Axis. Bergwacht releases will be available on Vinyl and as digital download. Open your ears and let Bergwacht rescue you.
