The Major Label Recording Company was founded in 2013 by Steve Flynn and Liam Tyrrell to act as a distribution vehicle for projects including Urban Legends, Pisswater and Hopeless Drug Fiends. The first release on the label, "Urban Legends - The Horror, The Horror...", was released in April 2013. This was followed by "Hopeless Drug Fiends - Non-Standard Ranch Stash" in October 2015.
