We are Counter Clock Wise; representing Philadelphia Pennsylvania. Our group consists of Emcees Loki (Joel Shafer Harris) and 808 (Bob Spencer) and Producer/Emcee Omen (Dave Coogan) We currently have close to 30 rough tracks we are working on, some of our subject matter includes love/sex, The Iraq War, 2012, the false illusions of consumerist life, while some of our others songs are simply sophisticated braggadocio in the tradition of the best hip-hop. We love the art and simply want to honor it with our experiences and talents. Hip Hop can trace its origins to battles of wits among African tribesmen and we also believe it has links to other ancient cultures where poetry and wordplay were considered magic.
