Major Flava is a group that is made up of two friends aged 19 & 22; based and raised in Reading just outside of London. The group have been writing their own songs together for the past 3 years and have been actively performing around the country, this has allowed them to acquire a great deal of experience over the years and they have built up a strong knowledge base of the music industry.
Major Flava first released a mix-tape in the summer of 2010, this consisted of 22 tracks ranging from Hip-Hop, R&B, Grime, & Pop. The pair of musical minds constructed and produced an additional E.P that followed on from the mix-tape shortly after they released it. The first mix-tape sold extremely well in Reading and additional surrounding areas. Moving forward the group were engaged with regular bookings, performing their latest singles and gaining a wider audience.
The diamond duos are extremely versatile when it comes to the songs they choose to write and when in the recording studio they inspire each other and gain inspiration from everyday life. When in the studio they are fully focused on the task at hand and ahead of them, they connect fully with the instruments and the producers to create and achieve the best sounds they can. This enables the group to work with the beats along side emotions and overall passion to the music they love to produce.
The guy’s are a passionate pair and are currently working on their latest album, at present they have been busy with the production and shooting of their latest music video for their new single ‘Living Life’. They have around three additional video projects that they are looking to release within the very near future. In addition to the video projects the group are working hard in the studio to provide their fans with the most vibrant and fresh sounding music possible.
The musically talented pair are hoping to breakthrough into the mainstream of music and one day top the charts with a record label behind them.
Major Flava will always be strongly motivated with the sheer hard work and determination; with this motivation it will not be long before they achieve their ultimate goals.
