Hailing from San Francisco, Joe Weidman (aka Jumpr) has been a staple of SF nightlife since 2016. He got his start in the leather scene as the creative director for Fog City Pack before jumping behind the decks himself in 2018. Since then, Jumpr has maintained residencies with disco crew, DAD SF, and Stank, one of SF’s longest running fetish nights. In 2023, he launched Synthia, a party that celebrates the queer sci-fi futurism of the 1970s & 80s with an emphasis on vintage synths & space disco. Jumpr prides himself on being a dance floor filler, agnostic of genre, spinning everything from sweaty bathhouse disco to throbbing techno bangers. Jumpr wants to bring the rush and keep the energy ecstatic.

Playing sunrises at Burning Man is always beyond special and a true honor. Doing it again, this time back on The Robot in which I hadn’t performed in a while, on the side of a good friend like Dj Tennis, in a burn as unique as this year’s… made it one of a kind.

The flames from the man have faded away, the cold is not easy to deal with... DJ Tennis has to go on a mission so Jennifer Cardini takes over to continue the Journey on the side of Rebolledo... The dust storms are getting stronger and more frequent but this would not stop the powerful and energetic drive they created to move on towards the last sunrise of the week... Mission Accomplished.
