Since being introduced to Hardcore/Jungle by a family member back in 1993 I was hooked by the fast tempo, samples, basslines and Mc’s that would ride over a tune. Notable radio stations I would listen to were Kool, Don, Scandal, Pulse, Dream, Transmission 1, Eruption, Flex and Ruud. It’s great to see some of these still going or come back. 

Listening to the DJ's on these stations as well as Hype (for his scratching ability and selection) inspired me to try my hand at mixing and after going through several inferior decks I finally got hold of two 1210's that made all the difference to home in on the craft and I never looked back since. I still have them to this day and would consider them family. 

From 2004 I took a hiatus from D&B and sold off all my records but since 2015 there has been a resurgence of the scene that I have got totally addicted to again just like the first time so the vinyl collection has steadily built once more. 

With the improved capability of live streaming I began playing on www.onlyoldskoolradio.com and www.futuredrumz.com in 2018 which then led me to joining Jungletrain in 2019 then onto Dream FM and now most recently, Thames Delta Radio for a monthly show.

She will sing it, rhyme it, speak it! Sofi Mari is an artist who has been professionally performing since about 2003 & has been involved in the drum & Bass/Jungle scene since 2008. Born in the UK & raised in Miami, FL, this vocalist & lyricist originally utilised the moniker ‘Sopheye’ before moving to London & evolving into a more mature, & experienced, performer now known as ‘Sofi Mari’.

Over the years she's hosted many topline d&b DJ sets including the likes of: Goldie, Storm, Bailey, Jumping Jack Frost, Utah Jazz, B-Traits, Source Direct, Digital, Flight, Marky, Empress, AK1200, Random Movement, Stunna, Big Bud, Sweetpea, Spacefunk, Total Science, Chris Inperspective, Equinox + more! Her sheer ambition & love of drum & bass enabled her to come in 2nd place as Best Female MC/Vocalist for the 2017 We Love Jungle Awards. She was nominated again the following year as Best Breakthrough Jungle MC for the same awards ceremony.

In 2019 Sofi Mari teamed up with producer & live Drummer ‘Septabeat’ fulfilling her dream of performing drum & bass live with an instrumentalist. This enabled her to be the first vocalist/MC to curate ‘Sun & Bass LIVE! Sessions’ 2019 at the renowned Sun & Bass festival in Sardinia, Italy. The event showcased a number of topline drum & bass vocalists supported by a live band at Ambra Day.

Having released tunes on Function, V Recordings, & Inperspective records she is back in the studio completing more projects for you to move to. Keep it locked!

The Ghost Of... aka Clayton Burke, is a Dj and artist from Winchester.

He has a monthly multi genre show on Aaja Radio... first Monday of the month 7-9pm

Schooled in the mid 80s by a Reggae obsessed uncle. His musical journey moved through early Hip hop , Hardcore, Jungle and then in '97 started actually DJing.

After a very long hiatus he picked up the headphones a couple of years ago and remembered how much he enjoyed sharing music he was totally in love with. 

Clayton is part of the 'Nothin' To Do Soundsystem' crew based in Southampton who's focus is on helping to create diversity and opportunities for upcoming local artists whilst putting on parties in unusual spaces...but with a thumping Soundsystem.

Cybergroove started his digital journey into the sounds of electronic music in the 1980's after his first viewing of the movie, Break dance.

Having little access to electronic music from a young age, he would watch Break dance repeatedly, just to jam out to the tracks on the soundtrack.

As he grew older, his search for EDM led him through theearly sounds of the electronic music scene; Acid House, Hardcore, and Jungle, they all laid down a groove he could get into.

After attending Pandemonium @ Mr B's in Willenhall, UK - he took the dive and purchased his first set of decks. Djing in the midlands, he's played alongside Ratty, Tango, Fallout, Phantasy & Digital.

Cybergroove eventually moved into a spot at Therapy Sessions in London, but at present, he's part of the Unified Beatz family and looking to bring the deep and hard sounds of jungle to your ears.
