This first single very fittingly is dedicated to the late great unsung hero Aaron Carl, the pioneering black queer Detroit dance artist. This single comes from GIDEÖN's 4-track 'Ritmo EP' due out in October. Texas-bred, San Francisco-schooled and Berlin based producer, DJ and vocalist Kevin Knapp makes his first solo appearance on Hot Creations. Already a massive Summer Anthem for the Hot Creations and Paradise Crew.. this is shaping up to be one of the singles of the Summer.

Equally adept in the studio, on the decks and behind the mic, Kevin Knapp has emerged from the bustling Bay Area dance music community to international attention, with support from the likes of Matt Tolfrey, Richy Ahmed, Seth Troxler, Jamie Jones, Eats Everything, Claude VonStroke and Audiojack. It was only a matter of time before Knapp heard the call of the global techno capital, relocating to Berlin in early 2013.

He’s also become a fixture on the international circuit, gigging across the globe, from Detroit to New Dehli, San Diego to Seoul, and appearing at industry-leading events like Movement (DEMF), ADE and Off-Sonar Week. His releases and collaborations can be found on the likes of Leftroom, Dirtybird, OFF Recordings, Defected and now Hot Creations.
