Abracadabra - supposedly a magic word - was once thought to be a spell against various diseases, which was to be used as follows: it was written out on a board 11 times, omitting the last letter each time to form a triangle. Such a gradual shortening of the word was believed to destroy the power of evil, and the patient, wearing an amulet, was to gradually recover. While there is no precise definition of the word, several folk sources have come to be associated with it, like expressions in Hebrew that mean "I will create as I speak" or others in Aramaic that mean "I create like the word". Whatever the case, the phrase has come to be commonly used by modern-day magicians before, say, pulling a rabbit out of a hat.

P.S. Kadabra [kəˈdabrə], pronounced just like Cadabra, is, in fact, the second part of the ‘magic word’ which can basically mean ‘to speak’ or ‘to utter’. According to @araberlin, 'Kadabra' is a very powerful word which fits their podcast perfectly.

Wow what a night......I had the honour to play directly after Stimming ( https://soundcloud.app.goo.gl/NfEniBEoyhmbo7AeA  )So I had the quest to transport the fantastic dreamy mood into an danceable and very hypnotic region what I like at most (117-124 BPM). I think it worked out :) 
I enjoyed the whole gig a lot as much as al dancers and smiling faces.
Ok the sound system was a pain in the ass, but I tried my best to play at the limit of the sound system. Enjoyable and powerfull.

The raga saga is a series I have started to act as a cultural collector of my favorite artists from all over, Each raga is in an array of melodic structures with musical motifs. This beautiful saga comes from Copenhagen, Denmark by the new in the scene but now everywhere @dj-flipflop

DJ FlipFlop started his musical journey on the island of Gran Canaria where he at first started playing other artists sets for his guests at his former hostel.
After DJ Koze´s best friend and former partner Cosmic DJ and other German-based DJ´s visited his hostel, he was encouraged to start making his own sets.
What started as an interest quickly became a great passion of the 20-something-year-old Viking.
After 3 years abroad, DJ FlipFlop recently relocated back to his roots in Copenhagen where he is pursuing higher education and is slowly being introduced to the right underground DJ´s in Copenhagen.
What will come next only time will tell.

This set was recorded at the small yet very delightful "Tankstell" in St. Gallen. After a small post production intro for the set we thought it would be very fitting to release it with the times at hand. Club culture all around the world is suffering and DJ's and producers likewise. Equally we've rarely seen such an abundance of music being shared online like ever before. Let us cherish the sheer diversity of music being shared out there and we hope you enjoy this deep dive into this entrancing four hour set.

Special thanks to our @lokdbasel family for having us for the event and a big hug to the gang at Tankstell in St. Gallen for hosting the event!

This poem describes perfectly the music of ĀRĀ. Enjoy and fly with them on a wonderful trip to nowhere, where people are free and happy.

ĀRĀ are two feathered friends and DJs from Berlin with deep love to slow beats, telling stories and hypnotizing their audience with their mix of heavy and melodic sounds. They also look the same from some distance, just like real Aras. A real Ara? It's a neotropical genus of macaws with eight extant and at least two extinct species. It's a parrot!
