he Rock-Band Shimaera, a six-piece band from Ahaus (GER), presents an extensive repertoire of their own compositions from the genre of alternative rock with metal influences.

Their man-, and especially with the lead singer Nelleke Manders (NL), woman- strong presence, gives the band a proper sound spectrum.

Especially through the unmistakable lead guitar sound of guitarist Maximiliano Pepermans (ARG), the driving rhythm section with drummer Michael Hackfort (D) and bassplayer Carsten Kottbus (D).
In addition, this basic sound is rounded off by the second vocals and rhythm guitar of Jonathan Rittner (D), and the synth spheres and piano sounds of Markus Kleinsmann (D).

The songs themselves range from powerful rock to psychedelic melodies. 

Ballads with first-class vocals by the singer are also part of their programme.

With ever-growing enthusiasm for their music, Sohimaera will certainly be heard more often in the future.
