Giulio Ricciardi is a seasoned live club DJ, producer, remixer, and audio engineer with over 20 years of experience in the music industry. Originally from Toledo, Ohio, and known for his deep passion for Techno and House music, Giulio has crafted a diverse and dynamic career that spans across continents. Currently based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, he is dedicated to building and shaping the city’s growing electronic music scene, while continuing to expand his global presence.

Having spent years perfecting his craft, Giulio’s music is a reflection of his life experiences—thoughtful, inspiring, and always grounded in a desire to connect with listeners. His tracks and mixes draw from a vast spectrum of influences, but his true signature sound blends Detroit-inspired techno and house with a unique, personal twist.

Giulio’s journey in the techno world began in 2009, when he started playing a distinct blend of techno and house, with nods to his Detroit roots. As a resident DJ in New York City, he performed regularly across iconic venues in Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens, where he built a reputation for his intense energy and seamless mixes. His time in the city was crucial to his musical development, allowing him to network with influential figures in the industry and further hone his distinctive sound.

Now in Phnom Penh, Giulio is eager to support the city’s emerging electronic music scene, contributing to the growth of local talent and fostering an environment where fresh, innovative music can flourish. He aims to introduce his signature mix of thought-provoking techno and house to new audiences, while mentoring up-and-coming DJs and producers in Cambodia.

As an audio engineer, Giulio’s technical prowess is exceptional. With over a decade of live sound experience, his mixing and sonic blending skills are second to none, a quality that’s evident in every track he produces. His in-depth understanding of both hardware and software, combined with formal education in music technology, forms the backbone of his approach to both live performance and studio production.
