The mix in his words:

"To my ears, 'groove' is a certain culmination of sounds that evoke a feeling. That type of feeling that makes your eyebrows furrow and head start bobbing involuntarily. A certain rhythmic funk that makes you put on that stank face and say, “yeah, that’s that good shit”. Groove helps me sink into that pocket, where songs start blending and dancers’ steps never fall out of rhythm. This mix was inspired by this feeling. I started off with some OG edits and tracks, the kind of funk my pops would bump in the garage way back when. Later in the mix I get into some more house and club sounds while making sure the underlying groove stays alive."
