A Neoclassical piano score for Wildeflower, a floral design company based in Cape Town, South Africa. 

I was honoured to be invited on-board this beautiful collaborative project as a composer/scorer. I've always dreamed of being a film composer... May this be the first of many successful film projects.

Working for his wage
Digging for his gold

I hear him 
Singing his old song
Laughing his hoarse laugh
To jokes he’s made up on his own 
I see this old man
Looking around, searching
In want of companionship –
A friend 
With whom he can share his stories untold
I hear these stories of old
Stories as old as he
Stories as old as a soul that arose to a world more real than what can be seen

And so this old man walks alone
Fishing for food 
Working for wage
Digging for gold on his own
He’s set this place up as his home
Decorated with sharp yellow stones
He’s content and at ease and has no-one to please
And nowhere better to go

… ‘Cause as far as he knows and has always been told
There ain’t no place quite like home

A collaboration between Makeeda Swan and Epic Sets, 'Fly Llike You Do' is a track created to inspire young minds to dream big and pursue their goals despite the challenges they face on a daily basis.
