Cranked out this track to test out ML Drums from the bois over at ML Sound Labs. Compared to my experience with mostly using Superior Drummer I think there are still some things that I prefer about SD3, and I really hate using GGD just 'cause I don't like using Kontakt for anything if I can avoid it. So in my mind ML Drums is a truly awesome alternative for if you can't justify the price point of Superior Drummer and it's expansions, or if you're like me and you just really hate using Kontakt and don't wanna use GGD because of it. The base kit for ML Drums is free, it is mindnumbingly easy to multi-out this software, and the "expansion" is only $30 USD. I won't be surprised if this ends up being a new go to for drums on all my future recordings.
