Cascao & Lady Maru are a quirky-electro-duo, coming from the saucy-punk-no-wave scene of the aethernal Rome. 

Cascao works as a sound engeneer ,a producer and  a theather actor . he has been playing and still plays in various wave, post punk,noise and electronic projects of the freaky roman underground (Nastro, for example) , whereas Lady Maru is a techno dj producer.

they started their work togheter in 2008 and it quickly turned into a wacky-dancey live act, with guitar, synthie, some live samples and percussions... funny tribalism and poppy arty melodies: evoking talking heads, the residents, and the proto 70'ies 80 ies  wave stuff.

During their first european tour in Berlin they met Khan of "i am single records" .He took  them on his label at first  with 2  singles "Tropical Tasting " and "Burundance" with remixes by Khan, Rodion, Vinny Villbass , Ikuo,  then with  their first full lenghth album "Gong" , postproduced and mixed by Rodion(Gomma rec.), november 2011.

One other pop  single   came  out in December 2011  on Glamnight Records, a nice  roman electro-house label, running some great busy electro nights. 

In 2014 they have  released  4 tracks on an italian techno and electronic label called  I-Electronix ,  one of these  tracks, "Keep it on ", has been featured  on various beatport's nu -disco charts. 

So... time for a new full length release now . The new LP Spleenism is coming out on vinyl and digital  on  San Francisco's based Cochon records  : pop elements and  tribal funky rythmn  with slightly dark atmosphere  ... 

"We've been trying to minimise arrangements, and to use mostly analog  instruments ..this way it can be easier to play the songs live without needing  prerecorded phrases, and It allows us to have a more percussive and rough way of developing melodies..Spleenism is a selection  of the  songs we wrote  in the last 2 years that have this features .. actually except for the first song that  we have chosen as a dreamy introduction to the album."

Makintouch is the DJ duo of Beto Durand and Mao Montenegro formed in Bogota, Colombia in 2005. Riding the forefront of the indie/electronic dance scene in Colombia's vibrant capital city, Makintouch has grown to be the hottest DJ act in the country - having played most of it's major festivals, opening for the likes of Calvin Harris, Britney Spears, Steve Aoki, Diplo, 2ManyDJs, Hot Chip, Basement Jaxx, Felix da Housecat, Plastilina Mosh and dominating countless private and  promoted parties.  

Their frenzied live repertoire covers genres such as electro, disco, indie, house and the latest in electro infused pop sensibilities that make people MOVE. They are one of two groups in Colombia sponsored by adidas and are currently gracing the pages of the November 2010 issues of Playboy Colombia AND Rolling Stone Colombia magazines. With only a few shows outside of Colombia under their belts (Las Vegas, Miami, Los Angeles, Buenos Aires, Mexico City) they have their sights on big things in the U.S. and Latin
