M2 (Masibonge Mtshali) is a House music Producer/DJ who is inspired by various sounds, because of this, he is very versatile. He is from a small town called Dundee in KwaZulu-Natal but now resides in Johannesburg South Africa. With the love for music beginning from an early stage developed by the ‘back-in-the-day’ Kwaito sound and first House Music song ‘One More Time’ by Daft Punk. M2’s sound palette was destined to be diverse. His first mixing experiences, more than a decade ago, using Atomix MP3 (A DJying software) saw him become his hometown’s known young entertainer, known for having a vast collection of music. 

On the production side, M2 shows versatility in the House music genre and can easily produce from one subgenre to the other with preference being Soulful, Deep and Afro. His sound is very afrocentric but that never sways him from fashioning through the deep tech sounds of Berlin. One thing for sure is that this artist understands the House Music Genre. As a DJ he is sought out for his exclusive mixing style, music selection and ability to read and control the crowd.
