“Equal parts renown classical composer and a popular DJ” (Thotyssey.com), DJ-Producer CASA DE GALINDO (aka Gilbert Galindo) has become a staple in the NYC nightlife scene. On his dancefloors, you'll dance and sing to blends of tech, progressive, latin, and circuit house along with current pop and dance mix classics. A resident DJ at the legendary Stonewall Inn, Galindo can also be heard at venues such as Atlas Social Club, REBAR, VERS, among other clubs, bars, and private dance parties all across NYC. Diverse and versatile as a DJ, he was a fixture at the former Boots & Saddle Drag Lounge where he worked with to-be RuPaul's Drag Race stars and top NYC drag queens. Galindo continues to DJ for drag shows, and in addition, works with vocal artists as well as film and video producers. On the producer side, his original dance mixes have been described as "full on techno with super high energy and high bpm" (Hotspotsmagazine.com) and he will be releasing new tracks throughout 2023. Electron-C is the production moniker for Andrew Hague, a Producer/DJ from Charlotte, NC by way of Orlando, FL.  Electron-C, hailing from the southeast of the USA, cut his teeth in the 808 and breakbeat culture of the Orlando and Miami Rave Scenes. An entirely separate scene that stands proudly on its own, best known for the breakbeat sounds of Zone records, Rabbit in the Moon’s trance epics, and Magic Mike’s infectious 808 filed funk.  From these influences and more, Electron-C found his way to the sounds of Jungle/Drum & Bass, that ignited a creative storm for the Producer/DJ.  As an active member of the USDNB community, Electron-C has had multiple charting releases on Beatport, and continues to deliver brilliant productions and sets to the drum & bass community.

Emerging on the production release scene in 2020 after over a decade of honing his drum & bass techniques, Electron-C has released of host of original work on Base Industry Records, as well as a handful of carefully architected remixes.  In 2022, his remix of the seminal classic, Lustral "Everytime" was featured on the 25th anniversary re-release of the record (vinyl only) on Hooj Choons.  Electron-C is also a regular contributor to Rolled Up Records, the Florida Drum & Bass imprint that has been taking the world by storm.

The Electron-C production style is heavily influenced by his roots in jungle music.  Varying through dark & melodic vocal presentations, euphoric modern jungle drenched dancefloor bits, to high intensity jump up bangers, he is continually pushing the boundaries of his production and sound design in 2023 and beyond.

Electron-C has performed alongside the absolute legends in Drum & Bass:  AK1200, Aphrodite, A.M.C, Dara, Friction, Hype, LTJ Bukem, and many others.  His focus on modern jungle and dancefloor forward drum & bass always keeps the crowd moving and engaged.

Gilbert Galindo’s compositions offer the listener a kaleidoscope of textures, sounds, challenging harmonies, and crisp and vibrant melodies, providing a rewarding journey from the first notes to the last beat. Many are written for multi-combinations of instruments, solos, duets, trios, small ensembles to full-blown symphonic orchestral music, to the most personally poignant songs for voice and piano. A native of west Texas and having studied composition at Northwestern University and the Cleveland Institute of Music, his music has been heard nationwide and internationally by groups such as Ensemble Dal Niente, the Lost Dog New Music Ensemble, the New Thread Quartet, newEar, Parthenia, among others. He has received recognition and awards from the American Music Center, BMI, Meet The Composer, New Music USA, Northwestern University, and others. His music is available from Cuicatl Publications (BMI) on www.gilbertgalindo.com and his recording of “Almost within reach…” for violoncello and piano can be found on New Focus Recordings. Gilbert Galindo is also a member of Random Access Music, a composer & performer collective based in Queens, New York and is currently working on new instrumental and vocal projects for performances later this year.
