Nøvae’s first time standing behind the dj booth was in 2017 in a little bar in Lübeck. From this point in her life, she fell in love with djing, electronic music and known, that this is the right place for her. A little later she moved to Leipzig and started the collective muy bien. Since 2020 she is resident at Brotfabrik crew and since 2022 she is also resident at Westhafen Leipzig. The sound nøvae’s playing is very variable, her typical sound is a mix between progressive melodies and indie dance.

The Set I played at Chigal Festival 22 is now online. This one was very special to me as I realized that it has been 5 years ago at the same spot - in that amazing bunker, with an amazing crowd and most importantly: most of my closest friends supporting me while I was about to play my first set ever…It was actually not planned that I am standing there but someone else…

Now 5 years later, standing in that same DJ Booth again, I felt more connected than ever - enjoying every single minute dancing with every lovely soul in front of and next to me - sometimes even a little bit too much as you might hear during the set when people came to prost with me while I was mixing and in the end fucked it up - hups, shit happens - all the time! But in the end I learned: I am grateful that this special person forced me to push my boundaries and play my beloved techno music for others: because no matter what, everything goes on and it is just a question of what you make out of it and how you contribute to it. For me Techno and generally music is healing, makes me happy, gives me perspective and connects people and therefore I would like to contribute at least a little bit to make people happy. Enjoy!

ALICEA is a Techno DJ who lives in Munich and has made a name for herself there in a very short time as a member of @harrykleinclub family. Inspired by the sound of Detroit, the UK and Berlin, Alicea transfers the diverse sound influences into her sets. Her track selection is characterised by spherical chords and analogue synth elements. She is a resident of the @electronicmonster collective, which hosts monthly events at Harry Klein Club, and is heavily involved in the (queer)feminist DJ collective @wut-kollektiv from Munich.
