Rooted in Fine Arts, Malefond develops a musical project at the crossroads of experimentation and tradition. As the sole songwriter and composer of his work, he explores vernacular musical transmissions, with a particular focus on folk and pan-Mediterranean traditions. His music departs from dominant Western tuning systems to embrace a modal approach, freer, more organic, and attuned to alternative systems of resonance and listening.

Performing live as a duo with a drummer, Malefond crafts dense atmospheres and sonic landscapes in constant tension. Each performance becomes a passage: a gesture that is as much plastic as it is musical, rooted in transgressive listening, where forms erode in favor of intuition and vibration.
