BangBass has its roots in Italy, but they have been living in The Hague + Rotterdam for some time.

You probably know them from acid & tekno releases on labels like Zodiak Commune/Tekno Sucks/Narcosis & Hzd Records, but in recent years they have been mostly active with industrial techno and proper gabber.

At the recent Freax festival, BangBass kept the dance floor going strong. You can relive their energy now!

The 3rd edition of Eclectiek was one to raise awareness about the situation that is going on in the Sahara desert, more specifically Mali and Mauritania, where Resonant Earth is developping a project in cooperation with ForAPurpose and Tadiazt. This project perfectly fits with the idea of Eclectiek. Bringing people together through music.

I want to thank everyone again for helping, being there, dancing. The evening and night was loaded with qualitative music and beautiful people!

Since the beginning of 'mobile phones' I would always plug in with an aux-cable whenever I got the chance and play some tunes. Nothing really changed, except for the fact I use cdj's and a mixer now.

Rooted in Fine Arts, Malefond develops a musical project at the crossroads of experimentation and tradition. As the sole songwriter and composer of his work, he explores vernacular musical transmissions, with a particular focus on folk and pan-Mediterranean traditions. His music departs from dominant Western tuning systems to embrace a modal approach, freer, more organic, and attuned to alternative systems of resonance and listening.

Performing live as a duo with a drummer, Malefond crafts dense atmospheres and sonic landscapes in constant tension. Each performance becomes a passage: a gesture that is as much plastic as it is musical, rooted in transgressive listening, where forms erode in favor of intuition and vibration.
