"Street Corners," chronicles the hope, anger and desperation of a man caught in an repetitious  cycle of watching friends come and go, and disheartened as he is in the same position and in the same neighborhood simply counting his hours. Reminiscing of a simpler time, the narration is a set around the feeling of escapism, watching as people around him, who were an integral part of his growth become victims of their decisions and the streets they inhabit.

Greetings once again. 
Today I want to bring you something just a little bit different from the normal boombap flavors I often lick. 
I'll let you decide the particulars of this flavor for yourself. This was a collaborative project in a new spirit, one that is much more patient, but that which does yield a great reward. I've been practicing more and more what one could call 'trust'. And trying to involve others more in different steps of the process as a whole. This song is essentially the first of it's kind from me. Much love to Zudo(a Shogun Beatcat)for the patience and hard work ! The instru was a favorite as soon as i heard it, with his hard work, the vision became reality. I originally wrote the lyrics in December 2014, so glad to see it given life. 

The song itself, as the definition of the word suggests, is about a achieving a particular measure of success given ones current circumstances and resources. 
The world is filled with talent, and many people seem to have found access in ways others have yet to figure out to the secrets of creativity and productivity. I'm not so sure myself there is a secret. But what I do recognize is that there is limitation, and the issue stems from our individual interpretation of what exactly the issue is. 

And example would be I used to wait for 'inspiration' before I wanted to write, or record something. And there were times were the wait was long. In short - 
You have to invite the muse inside, you cannot wait for her to to come knocking. 

We often have all that we need to accomplish that which we want, but the mind can hold us back a great deal, with aspirations, misinterpretations and quite simply a lack of realistic expectations. This songs lyrics embody the self refinement / betterment cycle.

"The Social Network" is a creative track that was inspired by the creative genius of GZA. 

GZA cleverness definitely inspires me. "Fame", "Animals", "Labels", and "Publicity" are creative concepts that expanded my mind beyond rhyming about my emcee skills, being saved, etc. 

I decided to attack the concept of building a song that includes various Social Networks. I did some research and compiled a list of Social Network sites and went to the work. 

I sat on the beat for awhile before coming up with the concept and I am thankful for having the opportunity to finally complete a track with @SoulChefMusic. The homie @Dj-Grazzhoppa blew me away with the scratches that he provided for the track.

09 May 2013: Paris and New York, obviously two of the most influential cities in the history of culture, come together on Jack Wilson and Keor Meteor's new EP "Enter to Exit" (May 13). Originally from Pittsburgh, Jack moved to NYC in April 2012 -around the same time Paris's Keor had held an online audition via SoundCloud for MCs to feature on a mixtape + subsequent EP. Jack was one of the artists chosen, so with a fresh selection of beats in a pulsating new city and no TV or internet, he wrote 8/9 of the lyrics to "Enter to Exit" (along with a half dozen poems) during his first two months in NY. Since his studio was still in an extra bedroom in Baltimore, he recorded rough demos through his iPhone to send to Keor and thus began the process. Following up their first single "We Ain't Famous", attached is the second single released today - "I Wish I Knew Emmy Rossum" is a song about being broke and single in New York City, with cuts by DJ Ivan6.
