I Killed Ramji is the debut album by Mumbai based Electronic Music group Tandav. Drawing inspiration from HipHop, Eectronica and the traditional elements of Indian music, Tandav's 25 minute EP is an organic medley of loud beats, bass, flute, violin and rap verses created by members RaVam, Jimmy it and Malfnktion.

The name "Kar Natak" has a huge meaning behind it."Kar Natak" shows how people fake and show a different picture to the world, also it has too much of the truth about the worldly affairs. It has "Konnakol", the art of performing percussion syllables vocally in Carnatic music (south India).  We have tried to have Konnakol through Rap.

The first ever single off the EP, was surprisingly, the last and final addition to the EP.

A beat that was supposed to be meant for another edit, turned out to be the most perfect fit when we came across “Poongaatru Puthithaanathu” from the Kamal Hassan and Sridevi starrer Moondram Pirai (1982)

The original song, speaks about how a woman's childlike presence in the protagonist’s life has brought about a new feeling, like a flowery breeze. 

Poongatru is anything but a flowery breeze in this case. This particular edit sounds like it’s straight out of a spy movie in the 80s. Might as well be about a femme fatale who has managed to seduce the spy, keeping him forever under her spell.
