French record label re.core are set to unveil their seventh release, 'TIME', a collaborative album from production duo Comechelet x ϙue...Our pick  'Rendez-vous' ensnares listeners from the start, uncovering layers of dense, storm-driven drones, intricately woven with a polyphony of dark ambient textures, gradually drawing the listener into a disorienting soundscape. There’s an organic fluidity to the track, as if the sounds are living entities - morphing and shifting whilst maintaining a subtle palpable tension. It inhabits a liminal space, creating a mesmerising ebb and flow between realms, lost in a sea of ubiquity.

Abstraction Spiral A Labyrinth Of Thought And Form - Side B

evo-natura is happy to present the debut LP release on the label by Shenzhen-based artist Kagami Smile, entitled ‘and the world collapses’.

The project was created after a daily meditation session of 30 minutes for a week. With the aftermath and clarity of each session, these improvised pieces have been recorded into a four track long-form ambient album, layered with tape noise and field recordings.

Malísima (it/she/they) understood art for the first time on a Tuesday at 8 a.m., crying in the streets of La Seu D’Urgell on the way to class at an arts-focused high school program they would drop out of three months later. Self-proclaimed "avant-garde experimentalist" and referred to as "malísima (in the head)" by those close to her, she draws on pop culture and her fragile psycho-emotional health as influential elements in her work.

With no clear sense of where she's from or how old she is, she seeks to build a sonic home (and make a living—because hey, that wouldn’t be so bad either) through bastardly contemporary productions that mix all the ingredients—internal and external—from her everyday environment.

And sometimes, no-input mixing, because who doesn’t love an impossible love story?
