Continuously trying to exceed his own limits, MARRØN employs fast rhythmics inspired by his roots. The artist’s moniker pays homage to the strong-willed Marrons, a once-enslaved African tribe who defied oppression and found freedom 
in the primeval forests of Surinam. The hypnotic, percussive beats characterizing MARRØN’s foundational Afro Deep style have evolved to form a singular conception of techno. His dynamic take on the genre is at home in the underground, most notably in his role as co-founder and resident of Amsterdam’s Eerste Communie. MARRØN’s capable command of groove, power, and texture is no doubt a convincing invitation to stay on the dancefloor for hours.

Solid Grooves Records audaciously introduces itself as one of the UK's finest House & Techno labels, a bold statement backed up by its hugely popular residencies in both Ibiza and London.

The recipe is simple, but efficient: Solid Grooves Records provides a signature heavy duty sound from a tight knit family of core artists, whilst championing emerging and prospering artists.  The label's sights are firmly set on the horizon, with a commitment to pursue dance-floor material which is both tasteful and effective, and to set the scene for a new breed of talent.

Heavily influenced by his father who owned a music store, Talfelt began playing guitar at the age of 7 years. Discovering the world of musical instruments and with early support and help by his brother he started to jam around using a variety of different hardware and soon found himself being attracted to the realms of electronic music. Together and as 'Team Raw-Cut' they brought out their first EP shortly after.

Inspired by 90's Old School Rap and the skating culture one of his turning points was when he got his hands on an Akai MPC for the first time. Fascinated by the complexity and the possibilities of drum programming he learned quickly and began to elaborate his workflow and production style even more. With an almost fully analog studio setup, the project 'Talfelt' started back in 2017 as symbiosis of both, his musical approach as well as his well-routined and structured workflow resulting in an outstanding creative output with passion, care, and style.

While focussing on uplifting, diverse, and atmospheric Electronic & Techno he also works under his second alias 'Dioxid' which approaches more functional, tool-ish, and propelling styles. With his debut on Instinkt Lab followed by releases on Entourage Concept, Coded Platform, and Vitus' Curse the journey is only at the beginning with loads of projects waiting in the wings.
