Yihaaaaaa dreams come true, Fusion, my favourite festival in the world. Words cannot express what an incredible Friday afternoon it was, everything was just perfect. It was warm, sunny and friends all around me at a stage that I love. The vibe was perfect with warm energy and smiling faces, thanks to everyone who came and danced with me. Next to that I'm super grateful for the opportunity that @t-om-nowa has given me! I'm still on cloud nine.

I hope that this set takes you back to that special afternoon. Old and new tracks from some of my favourite artists, enjoy!

Fire Space Friday Afternoon @ Fusion Festival 2024

Again the five days in Lärz produced a plethora of impressions and stories moulding my ever-groving involvement in the absorbing electronic music underground scene.

I want to share the most personal one with you - between sweltering heat and an electricity-cutting thunderstorm I performed my very first mixtape at any official festival.

Thank you, all the drenched dancers and patient listeners under the tarps, for staying with me and my music. 
The atmosphere when the storm arrived was outstanding, I hope that everybody who was in more dire circumstances during the multiple thunderstorms stayed safe and the artists who played simultaneously are not disappointed about the power failure.

Thanks to all the amazing producers and remixers for the tracks I stirred together into an exciting dough characterized by downtempo, sunken deep tech and sharp dark disco.

The third time’s a charm. And after two years of cancellations, this time things worked out and I finally performed at Fusion’s Fire-Space.

Here’s the recording of my set – played Saturday afternoon between 16-18. 

A thanks goes to all the friends who showed up for my gig. Another to the Fire-Space for having me. Finally, a huge thanks to the artists and friends who shared heaps of unreleased music with me in the days before Fusion: I felt honored and privileged to receive them and be able to play many of them.

Currently I am on a journey to Iran with my bicycle, capturing the sound of the world in field recordings and processing them to sounds and music.

Persistent like a donkey, MALUCHA makes his way through untouched valleys and plateaus of the danceable cosmos. His luggage is colorful. He combines downtempo experimentally with spherical electronic music: sticky acid sounds drip from the cave ceiling, served with techno, disco and world music sounds. MALUCHA sits firmly in the saddle and guides the herds up to musical panoramas with his diverse sets.
