This is the musical story of how we had to venture down the rabbit hole to rescue the voice of Redbird. This tale includes cameo roles from Redbird himself,  Simon DSA (Deep South Audio) and Alice in Wonderland, as we muddle our way through the labyrinth of the tunnels of our imagination. All this driven by a techno soundtrack. But did anyone come out with the voice of Redbird?.... TBC

After hours of wonderment and lucious audio and visual experience I wondered into the hot sweaty boiler room where I got to play these tunes. When I was a little girl my first vinyls were talking stories on records, like our modern day audio books, but on wax! 
One of my favourites was a slightly edited soundtrack to the Alice in Wonderland movie, a 1951 American animated musical fantasy, comedy film produced by Walt Disney Productions. As I grew up I slowly unpicked all the sub-stories and darker hidden messages behind the adventure, written by Lewis Carroll.  
When Arkadien festival in Napier invited me to do a 3hr set at their Wonderland themed party, I immediately revisited the story and wondered what the Dance Music story would sound like. 
The musical adventure you are about to listen to is what unfolded.
