Les conséquences de la révolution industrielle ont été désastreuses pour
l'humanité. Pour ceux d'entre nous qui vivent dans les pays «avancés» l'espérance
de vie s'est accrue, mais la société a été déstabilisée, la vie privée de sens, les
hommes ont été livrés à l'humiliation, la souffrance psychique s'est généralisée —
souffrance qui est également physique dans le tiers monde — et enfin le monde
naturel été gravement détérioré. Le développement accéléré de la technologie va
empirer les choses et sans aucun doute infliger aux hommes des humiliations plus
graves encore et à la nature de plus grands dommages ; il va probablement accroître
la désagrégation sociale et la souffrance psychique, et peut-être augmenter la
souffrance physique, même dans les pays «avancés».

Le système industriel-technologique peut survivre, ou il peut s'effondrer. S'il
survit, peut-être réussira-t-il finalement à réduire les souffrances physiques et
psychiques, mais ce sera seulement au terme d'une longue et douloureuse période
d'adaptation, et au prix d'une réduction définitive des hommes, et de beaucoup
d'autres organismes vivants, à l'état de produits manufacturés, simples rouages de la
machine sociale. En outre, si le système survit, on ne pourra en éviter les
conséquences : il n'existe aucun moyen, réforme ou ajustement, pour l'empêcher de
priver les gens de leur dignité et de leur autonomie.

Si le système s'effondre, les conséquences seront également très douloureuses,
et le seront d'autant plus qu'il se sera étendu et perfectionné ; s'il doit s'effondrer,
mieux vaut donc que ce soit aussitôt que possible.

Nous préconisons donc une révolution contre le système industriel. Elle peut être
violente ou non, être soudaine ou s'étaler sur plusieurs décennies. Nous ne pouvons
le prédire. En revanche, nous pouvons énoncer dans leurs grandes lignes les
dispositions que devraient prendre les ennemis du système industriel, en vue de
préparer la voie à une révolution. Ce ne sera pas une révolution politique. Ce n'est
pas aux gouvernements qu'elle devra s'attaquer, mais aux bases économiques et
technologiques de la société actuelle.

Dans ce texte, nous analyserons seulement quelques-uns des aspects négatifs
inhérents au système industriel-technologique, d'autres seront évoqués brièvement
ou simplement ignorés. Cela ne signifie pas que nous les minimisions mais, pour des
raisons pratiques, nous devons limiter notre propos aux points qui n'ont pas reçu une
attention suffisante, ou au sujet desquels nous avons quelque chose de nouveau à
dire. Par exemple, les mouvements de défense de l'environnement et des espaces
naturels étant désormais bien implantés, nous parlerons peu ici de la dégradation de
l'environnement ou de la destruction de la nature sauvage, même si nous leur
accordons une très grande importance.

A year later, my dear friend Eli gave me the idea to make a club mix for it…. this is the result. „chica soviética“ is about the feeling of falling in love with a cold person. About how many times you don't know how to approach. About how to let go of the possibility of a reunion, even though that person will always be present inside you.

The videoclip gives another message that the song does not. And the fact is that in spite of how cold it can be to fall in love with someone unrequited, the warmth of friends will always be present.
